BlackBerry invites you to join us for the BlackBerry 10 Jam World Tour – a series of full-day events dedicated to providing the developer community with insights on the BlackBerry® 10 platform; its strengths, the vision, and how developers can make apps that stand out to app-hungry BlackBerry users.

If you are under the age of majority in your respective state, province or territory of residence, a parent or guardian must be involved in the registration process and must register and accompany you at the event. Please contact bbjamworldtour@taylorinc.com for information on minor participation.

Pricing Information

There are no registration fees for developers to attend an event on the BlackBerry 10 Jam World Tour.

Space is limited, so make sure you register ahead of time in order to reserve your spot for all of the content on developing for the BlackBerry 10 platform.

Apply for a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Device

A limited number of BlackBerry® 10 Dev Alpha devices will be available to qualified developers at each city in the World Tour. During the event registration process, apply to receive a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device, available only to developers attending BlackBerry 10 Jam!

The BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device is a prototype device created for the purpose of testing BlackBerry 10 applications during development. The device is not a BlackBerry 10 smartphone for end users, nor does it run the final BlackBerry 10 software. It's been created just for developers to help them prepare for the launch of the upcoming BlackBerry 10 platform.

Qualified developers will be determined by Research In Motion® (RIM®) using applicant information from the registration system. If you have already received a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device at a previous BlackBerry developer event or from RIM, you are not eligible for this offer.

Registrants who apply will be notified within 24 hours before the event if they are qualified to receive a device at BlackBerry 10 Jam. Qualified developers must attend all sessions at the event they are registered for in order to collect their device. Photo identification must be provided at the time of collection. Registrants cannot receive more than one (1) BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device during the BlackBerry 10 Jam World Tour.

The BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device comes with one USB charger and one North American wall outlet charger.
